Finding a reliable power plant that is able to run attachments such as string heads, hedge trimmers, pruners, and edgers proves to be challenging with the vast amount of options on the market.
Compared to the FS55/FS56 that I had been accustomed to using around the house, the FS91R was an entirely different animal. Its torquey 28cc 4-MIX engine rips and shreds through anything in its path, making it a great tool for cutting large areas of grass, but a travesty of a tool near obstacles. Where the 4-MIX truly shines is in its ability to run attachments such as pruners, hedgers, and edgers with high efficiency. The torque supplied is instant and consistent throughout the RPM range. I cannot forget to mention the steady idle of the 4 mix engine, it is music to my ears!
